2 November 2011 – BMW South Africa has launched the new design for the BMW 3 Series at the Rosslyn plant in Pretoria. Employees at the Rosslyn plant in Pretoria had the privilege of viewing the new design of the BMW 3 Series.
Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW Group) diligently protect its intellectual property, including its patents, designs, trademarks, and copyright. The body shape of the BMW 3 Series 2012 qualifies as a registered design which are registered at the South African Patent Office.
Registered designs are sometimes referred to as Industrial design, Community design and Design Patents.
The BMW 3 Series new design will bring you dual zone climate controls, cruise control, speed-proportional power steering, tilt and telescopic leather steering wheel, extended cabin heating, sun sensor, and a cooled storage compartment, just to name a few.
The BMW 3 Series new design safety feature include 4-wheel ABS, front and rear head airbags, dual front side-mounted airbags, child seat anchors, emergency braking assist, daytime running lights, engine immobilizer, dusk sensing headlamps, stability control, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution, post-collision safety system and tire pressure monitoring, just to name a few.
