Henrik Fisker was born on 10 August 1963 in Denmark.
He is a leading automobile designer and CEO of Fisker Coachbuild.
Henrik Fisker graduated from the California’s Art Center College of Design in 1989 in Switzerland.
He is best known for the designs of the Aston Martin DB9, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and BMW Z8.
Henrik Fisker worked as a designer at BMW Technik GmbH, BMW’s advanced design studio in Munich. He designed the Z07 concept car and the exterior of the production BMW Z8 roadster.
Henrik Fisker was the president and chief executive officer of DesignworksUSA in 2000.
He also worked for Ford Motor Company where he served as Design Director for Aston Martin. He was creative director of Ingeni, Ford Motor Company’s London-based design and creativity center.
Henrik Fisker was the Director of Ford’s Global Advanced Design Studio (CAPC) in Irvine, Southern California and he also sat as a member of the Board of Directors at Aston Martin.
He also teamed up with Bernhard Koehler to start a new luxury car company, Fisker Coachbuild. The company built and sold tailor-made cars based on production platforms.
Fisker Coachbuild and Quantum Technologies have teamed up to form Fisker Automotive. The first car to be produced by Fisker Automotive was the Fisker Karma, a hybrid luxury car.
Henrik Fisker also performed initial design on the electric car Tesla Model S and designed the body of the Artega internal combustion sports car.
