The late King of Pop, Michael Jackson together with Michael Bush, invented a pair of shoes that allowed him to lean forward beyond his central gravity point.
This invention was patented in 1993 as “Method and Means for Creating Anti-Gravity Illusion” US patent number 5255452 for entertainment purposes.
The shoes have a specially designed heel slot which can be detached to a hitch member by sliding his foot forward in the shoe.
This move was used by Michael Jackson and his backup dancers while performing on stage as well in some of his music videos such as Smooth Criminal and originally part of his film Moonwalker.
