According to a Los Angeles trademark attorney and a Dallas trademark attorney, another type of trademarks fall into the category of suggestive trademarks. Suggestive marks are not arbitrary marks but still do not necessarily describe the product or the service associated with the actual trademark. Specifically, suggestive trademarks have been created by courts to refer to marks that, while not completely arbitrary with respect to the goods or service with which they are used, are nevertheless not descriptive of those goods and services.
