Intellectual Property Applications

All Intellectual property applications in South Africa must be made to the Companies and Intellectual Property Registration Office in Pretoria. Although not legally necessary, such Intellectual property applications should be handled by an Intellectual property lawyer. The wording and documentation of any Intellectual property applications has to be precise, and this is always best carried out by a lawyer who is specifically trained in Intellectual property. Intellectual Property Registrations

With the exception of copyright, where only films and video recordings need to be registered, all intellectual property needs to be registered so that its owner can benefit from the Rights it gives.
