The SABDC (South African Book Development Council) was launched on 17 June 2007 in Cape Town.
The SABDC is the representative body of the South African Book Sector.
SABDC members include all key stakeholders in the book value chain.
The SABDC vision is to provide strategic leadership in the South African Book Sector.
The SABDC mission is to provide a viable, sustainable book sector, promote the power of reading and writing and to ensure the book sector is part of national policies & priorities.
