The Inventors is a memorable family board game from 1974.
The mission of The Inventors board game is to make the most money from buying patented inventions and cashing on their royalties.
The inventions available for purchasing are based on bizarre patents submitted in 19th and 20th centuries.
These bizarre inventions include the Dimple Maker, the Chicken Eye Protector, the Automatic Hat Tipper and the the Bird Powered Flying Machine.
Players use a plastic device that automatically roll the dice and dispense the patent clips which gives the value of the invention patents.
These clips show number 0, 1 or 2 and this number indicates the value that the patent.
The board has two tracks, the Invention track and the Royalty track.
Players play on the Invention track to access the inventions, claim patents, pay legal fees, and possibly steal an invention from another player.
